This instrument consists of two parts:

• A sliding part of the hexagonal cross section which deals on the opposite side with two logarithmic scales: n and n².
• The hexagonal part serves as a guide which also contains two logarithmic scales n and n² on one side and two others on the opposite side.

This instrument is ideally suited for processing powers and square roots and cube.

It comes in the form of a “pen” and is very easy to handle.
